Strange distribution of equality between NPC genders in this game
I read everywhere how there is a demand of equality between men and women in video games, which I approve of as long as characters don't feel misplaced and forced.

When it comes to ESO and mainly the latest DLCs I see a strange pattern. Most important story characters, like guild leaders, military commanders, ship captains, as well as most city guards in some areas are female while male characters seem discriminated. I started noticing this after playing the Dark Brotherhood and the Theives Guild DLC where pretty much every important character is female including side quest characters. After some Black Sacrament quests I also noticed how around 70% of enemies encountered in delves are female while only 20% are male. They should rename the Dark Brotherhood to the Dark Sisterhood. And I see this pretty much everywhere in the game except for vanilla game content where the genders seem more equally distributed. Is this some lore-based decision I'm unaware of where most inhabitants of Tamriel are females and have the most important jobs in contrast to men? Or is this some other woke baloney to satisfy feminists? I mean even most of not all DLC and guild quest givers are female in cities and towns. Feminism today have turned into the exact opposite of what they fight to achieve. Instead of equality we get just women everywhere while we liquidate male roles in society. Shouldn't equality include both genders? Or is equality just a disguise for radical feminism?

Is it not equality to want equal representation of genders in a game where there are both males and females? Or is it equality only if you are a radical feminist demanding the same? So me a male can not ask for equality just because I'm a toxic male who want to dicriminate women by replace all female characters with males? Oh the hypocrisy, get out of here.

Guys like eye-candy so they put a lot of females in the game.

I am male but I play female characters. I want eye-candy in front of me. It isn't rocket science or politics.

Which brings me to my last comment.

You should never underestimate the power of propaganda to turn what is a reasonable person into a blithering ♥♥♥♥♥. Be aware when you are being manipulated...

Ha! Nice to know I'm not alone in this little ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

No it is true. It feels like all of the cute guys die at the end of the questline. And it pisses me off as a female player. 😭

at least the female characters use normal clothing, and not "fantasy armor" that in no way could protect someone, now lets see who the side character is in the new dlc chapter, propably a female breton
I would have loved to get a new male companion with High Isle, but it is rather disappointing that we get 2 females.

Agreed, it's fascinating how insecure boys will complain about "woke" or whatever just because they feel intimidated by strong female characters.
Or you know they could just leave the game alone and not give a ♥♥♥♥ about what anyone else has to say, don't like it, don't play it, go cry in your safe space if you're offended by how many males and females they are, people need to stop ruining ♥♥♥♥ by being crybaby little freaks. Let me guess, people are gonna cry and call it racist too because of the alliance oppression. boo F***ing hoo

This ♥♥♥♥ is never going to stop. We can't have this dream world where every possible represented group can all have the exact same number of actors in every single game/movie/book etc.

What do we do? Sit with a pad and pen and every single time we sit down to watch a movie, count exactly how many men, how many women, how many majorities, how many minorities etc and when there is a slight imbalance go on the warpath to anyone who will listen?

Do you know where that road goes, OP? It goes to a world where every damn game or movie or whatever can't focus on the story its trying to tell. It has to make sure the count is right, and people aren't offended, and all the boxes are ticked. THEN it can spend its remaining time on trying to do what it came here to do.

I'm going to get called names just for saying this. I'll possibly get reported, maybe banned.

That's the world we live in now. Good job, OP.

As a Norwegian, I feel nords have been seriously underrepresented. We're not a big country, and a minority on the world scale, but that is _no excuse_ not to include us.

Excluding Norwegians based on their heritage is both racist and exclusionist.

Seems half the thread doesn't understand that people simply dislike when things are shoehorned.

Tbh. I loved how Skyrim had a nice dispersion of male and female leaders, redguards, argonians, orcs. And they didn't try to make a thing out of it, it was just the way it is.

I understand what you mean or referring to.

Now, you explain to me why this makes you upset or bothers you?

If you want ridiculous over saturation of the sexes, play Lost Ark... You can ONLY play as a female if you want a "rogue" class, but ironically all the females are straight out of some BDSM novel... its bizarre... as a red-blooded male, I even had to laugh... Hence I came back to ESO (which is a much better product over all IMO) and at least the women are fun to look at but tasteful... and you have no "forced genders" during character customization.. But yeah, the woke crowd is ruining lore in games and making even basic story lines laughable..

Don't worry players have pointed that out in the PTS and complained, ZOS solution was to ban them for being sexist or "baiting."

In an effort to be so woke, writers don't understand that it makes their stories contrived, unrelatable, generic, and boring.

But don't try posting that as "honest feedback" on the forums or else you will be banned for "baiting" an invisible dev team member that won't defend their own shoddy writing or stupid decisions.
