i tried the direct heal when summerset came out and i had a healer char. but currently i dont know anyone realy using that skill line :(
could be wrong though, i dont care much about meta builds for raids only XD
Meditate is a cool AFK skill or a fun trolling tank XDXDXD And I´ve seen some people use Time Stop, but is quite frankly pointless.
other than that I´ve never seen anyone use the other 2.
In other words, they kinda screwed the psijic skills... thats too bad.
I keep hoping that there's some clever trick to those skills that I just haven't discovered yet, but the longer it goes, the more I'm getting the feeling that this might just be wishful thinking. Looks like we're in the same boat (though you most probably spent more time looking for a solution than I did ;) ).
The mag morph of imbune weapon also hits really hard, and a lot of people use it as their spamable while parsing (but people generally don't use it in actual PvE content since it is more effected by latency)
Time stop, if used correctly, can be very potent in PvP. I've seen some well placed ones right when people go up to a door with a ram and after everyone is frozen, multiple people all drop oils at once.
Also people with troll builds in PvP love time stop since they can jump off a ledge, everyone also jumps like lemmings after them, and then the person who jumped quickly hits the ult and goes back up to where they were before they jumped.
At the end of the day, I'd say most of the abilities that are used are generally only within Cyrodil
I was about to say this as well but came late to the party.
Meditate and the heal-instead-of-attack make good RP and good idling visuals. Accelerate and Imbue is what's useful on combat. Time stop is tricky but can be applied well (it's situational). Undo looks like a panic button for newbies (and maybe give them a 2nd chance to run), and a good trolling when you are not playing seriously.
In battle and dungeons the Time Stop the best choice bc you can freeze many enemies.
Freeze the passage of time at the target location, gradually reducing the Movement Speed of enemies in the area during the channel before finally stunning them in place for 3 seconds when the channel completes. You can Morph it to Borrowed Time or Freeze Time.
The Meditate is really good if you want to heal yourself. I made screenshot how it looks: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2777577420
Focus your body and mind into a meditative state, healing for 1500 Health and restoring 1500 Magicka and Stamina every 1 second. You will remain in a meditative state until you toggle this ability off or are interrupted.
And last but not least the way you do your missions externally you also get gifts. You get face and body print and costume as well. I use the first two, it looks like this:
