This one looks fun, but YMMV. https://arzyelbuilds.com/stamina-dragonknight-bow-pve-build-eso/
Like I said, just google it and work your way through the suggestions to see which one appeals most. You don't have to slavishly follow them - sometimes I find the rotations they suggest may be optimal but don't suit me, or I find other skills more fun to use.
dragonkight has really good gapclosers and awesome cc
nightblade has on demand invisibility
warden has a good burst combo, you can prep 3 skills to go off at the same time
templar is more for melee builds
necro you need corpses to start doing real damage so its a more of a slow class
You can be Nightblade and not use stealth. They’re “the stealth class” because they have a stealth ability, an ability you do not have to put a single point in to, and even then it’s not even really a sneak around ability, it’s a brief couple seconds of invisibility to reposition and break LoS. Every character regardless of class has the ability to Sneak, which is the actual sneak around move and works the same as in Skyrim.
Magicka Nightblades have a lot of tools in their kit to inflict dots, burst, and can out-sustain a lot of other builds. Stamina Nightblades have access to some heavy physical and disease damage burst, and their ability morphs have great synergy with bows. Neither need to take the invisibility spell.
I'm confused becuz there's nothing that requires you to use Sneak. Any Stamina based character can use the Bow effectively - and None of them Have To Sneak. It's really up to you.
The only builds that truly requires Sneak are PvP Gank & Bomber builds - but that's becuz these are practically glass canons.
My PvE StamBlade charges through everything killing at a whim. Whether for regular game stuff, or even for Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood (Assassins guild) - there are no firm "Sneak" requirements (although DB does sort of push you that way - but they can be avoided).
And i have a few PvP toons that are also Stam-based that use the bow.
Bow/Bow builds do exist, but i'm not sure if they have good Class Identity.
Warden and necro are "buy to play". You can buy crowns or 1 month ESO+ to get 1500crowns. This way you can buy one of them. Nightblade is the stealth class but you can play nightblade without invisibility too.
Choose one of these races: orc, dark elf, wood elf, imperial, khajiit(cat). High elf will be viable too if developers go through with racial changes.
While i would agree it is rather wasteful to use a bow on a race or build that specializes in Magicka, the truth is really just "less optimal" - thus i agree with the comment "unless you are 100% casual".
On you list of races, i would add Nord since they do have a Stamina bonus as a racial passive, and they work well in PvP Bow builds, although i completely miss ur point about High Elves being viable after your opening statement.
You can play it on any stamina build and have it work just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fine. Just because it's not the hyper-optimized world record clear time smashing perfectly tuned meta build doesn't mean it's not viable in all content up to and including trial runs. The fact that you seem to think every single aspect of your character needs to be perfectly attuned to your weapon choice in order for it to work means that YOU are the casual and YOU need the build to be so optimized that you can ♥♥♥♥ up as much as you want and still do alright.
Well Alcasthq does one. It's called Blight. But the thing is, if you want to do a Necromancer Bow build then just do it.
0-50 it really doesn't matter what you do. Just build up your class and weapon skills so that they're all at max (or as close as you can get them) and see how it goes. If you reach the point where you really think it's not working then you can respec at a shrine of stendarr and have another go.
Honestly, I was the king of stupid builds for ages. Admittedly a lot of them ended up getting squished past CP160 but boy did I have fun for a while with all of them.
