I feel ESO community is already sad as it is

Full of elitism for PvE and PvP. people say ESO IS A BETTER COMMUNITY!

But I saw the reality in this specailly with ESO youtubers like Alcast and fengrush all that jazz.
but I never liked ESO anymore I am glad I stopped playing it. how sad this community is such a anti social comminty alike.

I want to play a Nightblade healer because I like nightblade in general but I'l get told to play NB Magicka dps or stam instead so I will stick that META up your rear.

I already Feel the frustration of any MMO Community on whats to come now. there is no going back I feel. MMO is 80% ranked competitive mode.

Man, this is an MMO! You have to say goodbye to what you want. Here you will do what others tell you. Or no one will play with you. If you want to play the way you want, you will be like 80% of the players here. They play alone in this MMO.

I met a lot of cool people who don't mind what I play. It's the nerds who are elitists. They obsess over spreadsheets and it looks like they love to insult anything that doesn't play as their superior intellect plays.

I personally hate alcast and fengrush. They both use twitch embedding on the exact same site to boost their views by thousands. Which is why their view totals are virtually identical. And their channels ban anyone who brings it up.

Tbh, I don't understand why the hate for Alcast, Fengrush, and other endgame players. They are just sharing their build, it's not like you have to follow them. However, it's not like everything could work in certain area, most RolePlay build doesn't work on Cyrodiil and vet trials, just try it.
Like mentioned above, as long as you deliver, 90% don't care with your build. If your RP build manage to get at least 75k DPS on parse or provide good support with your build, sure you can convince them to get you in group.

It's just funny that people who want to get into vet trials, improve their role, or how to perform better at Cyrodiil refuse advice from players who managed to get through them and say "ugh, such elitism".

PVP in literally any game on earth is cancer because we live in a twisted mockery of civilization filled with troglodytes. Imagine if all water on Earth was deliberately polluted to taste and smell like sewage. No matter where you dig the well, no matter if its in a bottle or out of a sink, its all sewage. Problem isn't this well or that sink. Problem is the water.

Groupies in dungeons, or randos in overworld, delves, etc. physically cannot harm or hinder you, but they can buff or heal you. Toxicity is already minimized. I actually find most chats and dungeon groupies to be entirely reasonable. PVP only exists for me to unlock Vigor.

Yea the gaming mindset changed now people want everything to be optimized and try to optimize fun and if you don't want to play optimally you are kicked out. and the worst part about the whole situation is that someone playing optimally pushes others to do the same thing and if they don't they will lose over and over again to people who did follow the meta

Yeah the elitism is why I just do my own thing. It's also why I don't really mess with dungeons anymore outside of trying to get a specific item. Doing vet mode for keys is a pain because people expect you to adhere to the meta even for the base game dungeons which aren't all that hard. There's a reason I like making hybrid characters, I like being able to deal damage but also take a hit. Yes I'm not doing 200 dpks but I don't wanna be a glass cannon. If I wanted to do what people tell me to do like I slave, I'd leave the country & go somewhere I could be enslaved at. The next time people give you ♥♥♥♥ for not running meta for things like dungeons, tell them to pay for your copy of the game & everything you spent on it. They won't

The developers say you can "be anything" such as customize your class to look and perform a certain way, but dungeon runners, PVP, etc groups would rather look at a spreadsheet. Sorry, but according to these people who only care about numbers, they want your nightblade to be a stabbing character or else be kicked from a group.

I am glad someone does have the understanding to agree with me. it takes some analysis.

I would dream for a animated movie on topic of gaming where I would play as the Villian with understandable motives, better excuses and who are actually right. think of disney villians like maleficent, captain hook, hades and sher khan.

you are totally right with the whole statement. you payed the same amount as me (theoretically/sales etc)

but the last sentence is also true for me a meta player, if you play with bad hybrid builds and have the arrogance to tell me that i have to deal with YOU i WILL kick you out its that simple. a hybrid heal/dd or tank/dd is the worst you could do in this game. i allow warden and templar to play a hybrid tank/heal but if you que as a dd but do max 10k dps then you are just bad and i dont want to play with you (talking about vet content, in normal i play anyway theoretical solo)

its a online game you have to keep in mind that everyone expects to be equal, you also dont start working in a company in which you have to do 2/3 of the work and do your coworkers job as well.

This is a game not a job. If I wanted video games to be a job I'd move off linux & go back to windows & play black desert online again. I'd install eve online & play that. Get outta here with that.
