I did complete most vet dungeons with pug's and saw a lot of people playing however they want with whatever they want and never anyone complaining about classes not being good at certain roles. At the end of the day it depens if the player knows how to play the role and get the best out of the class they are playing with.
The only real toxic behaviour I did ever encounter was in PvP but there it is somehow more expected than in PvE.
If you want to be a nightblade healer, than play as a Nightblade healer, nothing and noone can stop you.
how I felt I been lied to by the MMO community.
then you are a sad strange little kid who likes to play around the elite ESO meta gaming.
when I play BDO I havent found much issues thats because they have better alternatives to combat.
just like I found BDO lifestilling to be like paradise new home in swedish town there is no such obligated bonuses to it. just felt that people look things the wrong way.
Well said.
you would make for a poor healer in groups and pvp...
at the end of the day mmo rpg run on a class system
such elite you are... hah!
only a veteren dungeon privilage would say it
NB healer on competitive gameplay.....
TLDR : There's nothing elitist about having preferences for what roles certain classes should lean towards. Why would I want a Nightblade Healer in my dungeon if it could be a Templar or Warden, for example. They're viable, but especially in public dungeons it's already cancerous enough sometimes.
Dungeons and Trials have always been competitive to a degree, though? They're group events where everyone needs to put in their work to make it as a team. Makes sense that people want more "optimal" classes and their corresponding roles in order to have an easier time.
I went to your Steam profile and it does not show any game time at all.
This makes me sad.
That you would judge a community without spending Any time in at all.
This is the second post of yours that I've read that is negative with no real explanation as to why you think it is so bad.
So I'm sitting here trying to decide if;
1. you are just a Troll
2. you're working for the competition (BDO perhaps)
3. Or perhaps you are just a sad, lonely human being out there looking for someones attention.
I don't know.
What I DO know is that after playing over 5000 hours in this game the community is overwhelming good.
Are there some toxic players here? YES!
We are human beings. Most are good. Some are inconsiderate jerks.
Example: When I first started playing ESO I met up with a Gargoyle in a ice cave. I died several times as I did not know what I was doing (I was a complete noob) and so I took a chance and asked a complete stranger who was standing near the cave entrance If they would group up and help me kill the beast. They agreed and I was able to rescue the victim of a cruel bad guy.
We started playing together and became on line friends.
Example: Every day I play, and once I come in game there is always someone asking for help with a world boss and there is usually 2 to 3 responses just in chat. Sometimes I will just go there and find that sometimes 5 or 6 people have showed up to help.
So I ask you. How many hours did you play ESO?
What are your examples of "elitism".
What do you mean by "elitism. I know what the word means, but what is it in your mind?
What did someone say or do to you that turned you away from playing?
I don't know what your looking for. So tell me.
Please explain to us how we can actually help you rather than just judging us and telling us that we are anti-social.
How long did you play ESO?
