My suggestion to you, OP Is simply don't play a Nightblade.
Your honestly better off playing some other class as Nightblades is the one class that the development team unironically hates. they are always getting hit with a nerf bat and their toolkit is always stolen for other classes and whatnot.
it's simply note worth playing one.
best advice is to play one char up and then try some differnt, also depends on how you like to play - solo, dungeons, trials ^^ and if your a min/maxer ;)
