Magicka Nightblade or Stamina Nightblade for PVE?

personal preference in my opinion. i play a wood elf stamina nightblade, but i think either is viable if you are just planning to have fun. if you are a min/max type player there is probably a correct answer. play what looks like fun. you can always respec later if you need to.

Look up some gameplay videos or build guides on youtube to get a basic overview on what people do with both approaches.

I'm currently running a Dunmer Nightblade (she's Level 38 at the mo') in a predominantly magicka build. I dipped into the stamina side by having her dual wield, but left the rest of her skills in magicka. I think she's a bit weaker in the DPS department because of that and she runs dry more often than I would like, but I compensate by equipping some stamina-boosting gear and favoring stamina consumables. I use the Shadow and Assassination skills more than Siphoning (but I spam Strife/Swallow Soul). The build works pretty well for solo play, but I went for the higher DPS morphs in order to do that and she is not really designed for good group play.

My suggestion to you, OP Is simply don't play a Nightblade.
Your honestly better off playing some other class as Nightblades is the one class that the development team unironically hates. they are always getting hit with a nerf bat and their toolkit is always stolen for other classes and whatnot.

it's simply note worth playing one.

This just isnt true. What other class has cloak, shade and provides major savagry? Mag nightblade has been pretty close to the top DPS wise and might be the strongest mag spec right now. Also one of the best at soloing tough stuff due to swallow soul being a busted heal.

i play sorc and templar as magica, so i decided to play my kajit NB as stamina. realy does good dmg and has great passive heal ^^ hundings and briarhear sets, but that doesnt matter till you are CP 160 ;)
best advice is to play one char up and then try some differnt, also depends on how you like to play - solo, dungeons, trials ^^ and if your a min/maxer ;)
