Not the first one, the 3d one for me, look at the description: Includes The Elder Scrolls Online base game, Greymoor, Elsweyr, Summerset and Morrowind Chapters

It is called The Elder Scrolls Online - Greymoor (so it is not the upgrade 1st choice)

sadly there is no "complete pack" of ESO ^^
you can buy the previous "chapters" in a pack, all the dlcs (dungeon and area dlc) have to be bought single ingame for crowns. exept guilds and glory, that is a 4 dlc pack, also only for crowns.

I don't get the idea. Could you elaborate? If one ownes TESO already and buys the upgrade, are those addons complete? I mean, all included? It does not sound like it. If there is content I cannot buy in Steam but only with crowns than I will never play this again.

Basically, in ESO there is a difference between the chapters and the DLCs. Chapters are the big expansions released each year (Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, Greymoor and soon Blackwood). When you buy one of this chapter, you have access to the new region, with all the quests, dungeons etc. Then, they release several times a year a new DLC, which is a smaller zone, with stories, quests, dungeons. You can have access to these DLCs by either paying the ESO+ monthly subscription, which gives you access to ALL the DLCs, or you can buy them individually with crowns in game (so not from steam yeahhh).
When a new chapter is realeased, the previous chapters become DLCs, and may be accessed with ESO+.
Tbh, if you buy the pack with morrowind, summerset, elsweyr, greymoor, without buying the DLCs, you have hundreds of hours of gameplay. The DLCs bring new dungeons and zones, but they are optional.

Thanks for explaining it. Thats a big no for me. This weird mix of how they sell content. I don't like the crown system and will not use it. But this way would force me to. As long as I don't have a sub. And if I need a sub to get everything without crowns, then... I would not pay a sub for a game that also sells content with these crowns.

It's up to you, but many people play ESO without touching the crown store. If you buy the chapters then I would actually say there are thousands of hours gameplay and crown store not needed.

In my opinion the DLC is of varying quality and I would imagine that the amount of people who buy every single bit are of a very small minority. Most people either sub for a month to decide what DLC they want or wait for a free weekend/week.

If you have a DLC you like you still don't need to touch the crown store. It is an accepted transaction by ZOS that you can offer in game gold to another player to cover the crowns (between 300 & 400g per crown) and they will buy the DLC you want and gift it to you.

So you need never touch the crown store.

You could do what most do, and pay the sub while only buying the latest chapter. All the previous chapters are free with the sub, so it essentially works like WoW does if you're fine with ESO+.

I don't understand how you'd play this game without the craft bag from it anyways. Too many resources.

I played back in beta and never played again since then. I would be fine with ESO+ if everything was included in that. Heck, I still could live with paying for addons like WoW does, (still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practice though). But it just does not feel right to do that and then still miss content. This hacking content into smaller pieces and selling it does not sit well with me. I might be just old school there too.

in eso +all dlc are included, only the current "chapter" is not!

You haven't played since Beta.
Well this tells me right off the bat that you don't know what your talking about.

So here's my challenge to you.
Play this week
IT IS FREE!
Then you can come back next week and tell us all about what is really bothering you.

Sound like a plan?

To the OP
sorry about that.
Advice as others have stated, READ the description.
If it does not describe what you want, then it is not in the package.
Many players have been confused about what is and is not in the deal.

Good luck

The problem really is that I cannot progress. My character is stuck in the first tutorial step, as the quest does not continue as it should. I was not even able to log out properly, could not log in again, and have deleted it now already. This is a Morrowind quest, it should not be bugged out like this, when the addon was released years ago.

I think I know what your problem might be. Your game is very old - way back to the beta? This has caused problems with Morrowind as Morrowind was bundled and sold with the base game years ago, and people with the very old games find they can't download it. It seems to me you might have started playing Morrowind during a free weekend and now you're stuck. Have you tried contacting customer service?
