How do these quests work?

So im new and i get the storm on the horizon quest and it tell me to go to and investigate the temple of mourning springs,i go there and run around kill some skeletons yadada and is that it? Is it not supposed to tell me i've complete that particular part of the quest? Or do i need to run around in shattered souls and then it will do something?

you can press J to read the quest log and objective it need you to do, and also try to watch this video , you probably miss something
