Leads not dropping?

We're two players looking for leads in Bthzark and nothing has dropped at all for a whole WEEK. We've been starting groups for alot people and watching them getting the lead after like 5 minutes while we've been doing the same rounds on and off all day long and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. Is it a type of bug or something? It is so disencouraging to watch people get it so quickly while we're putting in so many hours just to get one..

Yes, it's RNG. I went for the ring of the pale order. Everybody was moaning about Bad Man's Hollow. I got that in under half an hour. However the chest in Bangkorai - whelp 1,000 chests later I posted in chat the same as you did.

Someone came up with some urban myths, like do all your green and purple leads first etc, which at least gave me something to work towards and I got it. But really, it was RNG.

so... that mount, i just hope you got leads from drakshade 1&2, volenfel and brass hatchling, before grinding lead that bosses respawn without need to replay full dungeon.... leave easiest for last (fighters guild, coldharbour boss, last 2 in craglorn from alcast's list)

and "urban legends" :
- dig up all your other leads (repeatable green and blue doesn't count).
- do something else in-between if it will be some quest or daily crafting or just something.
- log out for 15+ min and try again after logging in.
- go with other character - leads are account wide - no need to excavate with character that found the lead.
- come next day when you have enlightenment.


Edit: stros m'kai lead drops from random monster - got it from crab outside on EU and from something at that delve(?) at upper right corner with goblins at NA.
