Yes, there's lots out there. Go for social guilds and read the blurb, you can usually tell who's really relaxed, and who's just trying to get people to join for the numbers.

The right guild is really the best way to go. So many randoms just rush through dungeons these days and it's really difficult to learn mechanics etc under those circs.

Well, I'm in 5 guilds and none gave me flak for not joining their discord.
It pretty much a must if you plan to run trials (if for nothing else, to be able to listen to leader) but if you're not planing on doing that, there should be no issue, and guild that have discord as mandatory usually have it mentioned.

Actually that's a good point. I'm a member of a small discord group and we had a member who NEVER went on voice, but he always listened in. Funny as hell in typed chat, mind.

I run guild for solo type players. Check out my profile page (text box) for more details or use the TESO guild finder to locate us when in game.

You don't have to communicate with people after joining a guild's discord channel, unless you join a group content which requires it. Discord channels exist because the in-game guild interface is useless so guilds prefer to manage members in discord.

So you can still join their discord channel even if you don't want voice comm.

You can join my guild The Sun. Theres only one person for now (me). No discord so , only in game chat. Made the guild mostly so me and other interested people can cosplay as Solaire of Astora after getting the tabard.
