Summerset has no voiced npcs or background music

I purchased the Summerset expansion just today and when I started playing with my 3 other mates, they said they can't hear any npcs or even music in the background. When I loaded in, I got the same problem or bug? There is combat sounds but it isn't as fun when every npc doesn't talk to you and no music is playing in the background as you wander Summerset. Anyone else having this problem? Its not just me, 3 of my boys have the same problem, tried leaving the game for about a couple hours and just checked again now and still no voice or music. (the npcs mouth doesn't move too but they're making hand gestures as if they're talking)

Restart your pc maybe that will help

It could also very well be the server issues happening... Ive had weird ping spikes, disconnects, and even had NPC voices disappear (like you did). Its getting better, but I dont know what is being done to address it.

Then I'll have to probably wait until tomorrow or even a couple days to play it, I love ESO but the new expansion with no voices or music is kinda dull after a few minutes. Thanks for replying though, at least its not only me and my friends thats having this issue

Is it happening to you anywhere else? Since Summerset came out, I've had moments of time where everything has no sound. I've gone through a whole dolman with no sound and my templar jabs not appearing but there is no other visual lag or stuttering. Then, after the fight, I would hear the audio for the entire fight play in a compressed on second blast.

i had no such bugs :O id try to reinstall the game over night, update sound driver and graphic card

That's the thing, I know I updated everything because I almost check everyday for an update for my sound drivers, graphic cards or applications. Just keep in mind that it only happens in Summerset, anywhere else in Tamriel is just fine. Legit when I travel back to say Daggerfall or any of the 3 holds it works perfectly fine

Only Summerset, anywhere else in the 3 holds are perfectly fine. I've never had a problem with ESO for the 200+ hours I've played on it until Summerset came out

then simply uninstall eso restart pc and install it new, do it over night if ur internet isnt that fast and maybe it helps, u could also try to downlaod another language pack and see if it works also send a email to the official support

I've already submitted a ticket to the Devs/Support and I don't think its worth reinstalling a game for one expansion cause anywhere else works perfectly but if the ticket doesn't help and if its still like this in a couple days, I'll reinstall but for now, I just purchased it today so I don't want to do anything drastic as reinstalling the whole game. Thanks for helping me tho

Try running a REPAIR from ESO launcher found under GAME OPTION. might have some messed-up files, a REPAIR will fix or replace anything corrupted or missing.
