There's a marriage system? Lol
Yes, you can date and marry one of your companions, and in the new update you can even leave them for another 🥺
I bring up The Division because apparently the game director from that game is heading up this new effort.
Looter shooters like Division and Borderlands don't really have a shared world, and the only time you see other players is in safe areas or if you actively matchmake/ LFG for them.
Destiny is more MMO-like in that you can randomly come across other players during missions or while exploring/ patrolling an area. You could also argue that Destiny is a looter shooter, but the devs themselves prefer the MMO tag.
Housing: ESO offers more freedom and creativity, hands down. On the other hand, SWTOR lets you put tons of NPCs in your stronghold(s) to liven up the place.
Graphics: ESO looks better. What a difference two years makes in terms of hardware and engine advances.
Lore and Scope: both games are epic and on par. I actually prefer KOTOR 1, KOTOR 2, and SWTOR to the movies themselves.
Otherwise i spend more time in eso just doing more mmo type stuff. both are good games though. Although i feel you get more content for less in sw as you only have to pay for a sub once to get all the dlc even when ur sub runs out.
