How to get to coldharbour.
everyone keeps telling me that place is so good to level up at (especially due to the event coming up) and I even got a full set of training gear, i'm currently level 35, hoping to get to 50 by the end of the event, but how do I get to coldharbour?

if you started main quest when made the character, you would have gotten there naturally. Now i don't remember how to reach there without it, but there are other ways.
Open the map, the zoom out to the max (right click) and you should have another mini circle to the left, that is Coldharbour, see if there's any shrine there that you can access.
If not, then open your guilds and sort the roster by location, see who is in Coldharbour then right click on them and travel to player.

and as a side note, if you only want to go there to level up, you may end better going to Alik'r and doing dolmens with the big groups roaming the area.
and just an advice, there's no point rushing to max level, you'll just be useless because you have no skill points to spend, no skill trees raised, not your class learnt.

It's further down the Main (Harborage) StoryLine. It also helps to do the Zone Storylines too. When you open more Zones in your alliance and you have defeated a certain Boss(No Spoilers) you will then be approached by a certain mage to bring you to a certain area for talks with other Leaders. Just make sure that when you enter a main city of each Zone, that you listen to the "Profits" Ghostly Image, then you can teleport back to the Harborage to complete the next quest. Hope this helps. ✌

"Prophet", not "Profit".:hee:

You get it through the main quest or the last mission of your Alliance quest line

No one should ever suggest that you should focus on quickly leveling up on your first-ever toon.

I've seen plenty of new players that rush to get to Level 50 CP160+ based on recommendations, and then have no idea how to actually play the game.

Take your time !!!

The game takes time to learn - t is massive in scope, lore, and capability design - too many options, and it takes a while to figure out what playstyle fits you best.

Mucking around and making mistakes can be loads of fun. :)

Playing the Main "Coldharbor" quest line along with the "Faction" quest line is a very good way to learn the game and level at the same time.

Problem is, some quest rewards are quite useful (and valuable!) at CP 160, and are irreversibly wasted if you complete those quests earlier.

It is good to see you are having fun. That is what really matters in any game.:hee:
