in case this happens again is there some way to save my settings in a file which can be injected if this this happens again?
Odd indeed.

Addons keep their saved information in the following location (by default):
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables

That folder should contain a number of .lua files, usually the files have the same name as the respective addon (e.g. VotansKeybinder.lua ). Perhaps that folder got corrupted for you, or the game somehow lost permission to access it. I guess OneDrive might also be a potential culprit, but I know too little about it to even risk an educated guess.

If you ever want a backup of your addons' data, just copy the entire content of this folder. You can do a backup of your addons in a similar way, they are in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns

This shouldn't happen. I can see a chance that it might perhaps happen to one or two addons if they upload a borked update, but not for _all_ addons at the same time.

What do you mean by "resetted"? Did all addons lose all information, e.g. the UI addon forgot all your settings and reverted to its default settings (but is still active), Harvest Map forgot all resource spots that you had found, all keybindings reverted to their default settings, etc.? Or did the mods just deactivate? (The latter can happen after a patch; in that case, just set the checkmark to "allow outdated addons" and activate them again.)

In any case, knowing what exactly happened should help tracking the problem down.

i could understand it if eso had a big update but just out of nothing this happened, i played 7 hours ago eso and did my daily crafting and all addons worked.
