Minion Add-ons

Hi guys,

Have not played since pre latest expansion. I had a lot of add-ons installed that I used to before, every single one is up-to-date on minion however ESO is stating many are "Out of Date". If I turn on "Allow out of date add-ons" many do not work properly as they did before:

I have many more add-ons and libraries but these ones are not showing as out of date. Does anyone know much about Minion or these add-ons, are they not functioning in ESO for a lot of people right now?

Many I have got so used to I am finding it hard to get back into playing without.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated on getting these working properly again - Lazy Writ Crafting for example only works on a couple stations, not all of them.

You just have to keep allow out of date addons enabled. I have Destinations, HarvestMap and Inventory Grid View all working fine. I guess the reason it says they're out of date is, for example, Inventory Grid View has not been updated since 11th April 2018, but could be another reason, anyhow they work for me, and I believe almost everyone else too.

HarvestMap and Destinations (and Circonians Addon Selector, if that's the one you said) are working as intended right now, so have some quality time to check your settings on them to ensure the problem is just about settings. Also, run the DATA update of HarvestMap every few months (it's located at the addon folder, can't do that via Minion or ingame) just to trap those unidentified nodes in your local database.

About Lazy Writ Crafting: If you meant that its not appearing in certain types of stations, Provisioning and Alchemy are not supported. If you mean that they are not appearing where they are meant to appear, then it would be time to write to the author of the addon.

For easy writ crafting at Provisioning and Enchanting, use Master Recipe List. For Alchemy use Potion Maker. Master Recipe originally is for manage database of recipes, formulas, and praxis (so pretty much furniture and provisioning lists so to know what you have and what you need, w trackers for those recipes that urge you the most to get).

Item Preview is discontinued and changes in the game prevents it from work anymore, afaik.

Due to changes that came w U 27, Libs have been updated as we speak, some being up to date the past few weeks. Expect more changes in many Libs at November due to U 28.

Always keep the "Allow out of date add-ons" on, unless you are doing some troubleshooting that you presume will benefit from temporary disable that. Also always take a look at "Installed" section of Minion and hit "Update All" when there are addons w updates ready.

I personally prefer 'Auto Category - revised' cuz I keep the whole info on sight while collapse lists by very well organized categories (which I can edit, create, and erase at will), but is good to have options for different ways of work things.

IDK if U 28 will mess in any way the grid way to show items, but in case it does, now you know an alternative that surely (but not guaranteed) will keep working well after changes. Some U 28 changes are directed to improve the inventory and bank, adding the filters and search that only PC and Mac players see due to addons for it.
