What is your dps?
Mind listing yourlevel, class, and dps? No build info necessary, just trying to get some averages

I don't really play dps due to how many of them and an input delay (forced to play at 260-300 ping), but I try it sometimes for fun, collect some skill points, or farm something. I could hit around 27k-35k max on dummy, around 20k-30k on vet dungeon with stamplar at 650cp using hunding and briarheart.

I get 300 ping in combat consistently, i hit 60k on a 21mil and 36k on a 6mil on my main, a magDK

i play magDK, magSorc, magBlade

See no reason to share mine as play endgame dps and we have pretty much same numbers there but if you're interested in seeing classes performance comparison check out Liko's youtube channel and EsoLogs website, there are listed all the dummies, trials etc. what people minded to log and upload, pretty useful resource to check what builds were used and with what results.

How do you check what your DPS is? Never bothered me before.

Best way is to attack a training dummy (preferrably the 21m hp trial dummy, called iron atronach or something)
Combat Metrics addon is highly recommended if you want to monitor your dps.

On character sheet I have around 3.7k, nightblade, cp300, I once hit dummy for 20k ;0

You're probably talking about weapon/spell damage, which is NOT dps (dps is not shown in any character screens). And when you mention a dummy, it is important to mention which dummy. (3m, 6m or 21m raid dummy)

I hit things and they die - some take longer than others - the biggest numbers I have seem are between 20k & 30k but it depends of whether i get my rotations right or not. 650cp SorcMag

Using combat metrics and a training dummy is the only way to compare DPS with others that aren't next to you in combat. It provides a standard reference (and if you have a buddie with you at the dummy who's feeding you orbs or shards, you should note that as well).

Standalone against a 3mill and 6 mill, i used to test just over 30k, and over 40k was rather easy against the 25 mill Trial dummy. (i haven't rebuilt and parsed since last big patch) - and i wasn't using Trial gear at the time.

Whatever DPS you get in a dungeon or PvE environment is not really helpful since number of enemies and the enemy's stats varies greatly, and burst vs. sustained is obscured. I have registered well over 100k dps for 30 seconds against Trial mobs, and only 15k dps against certain Trial bosses. It varies alot.

As another reference, I did a test a while ago and i was able to do over 10k DPS with a single spammable skill on a Level 10 toon, No CP, No Buff Food, and Blue Crafted Set Training Gear - 300k dummy - so, anyone should be able to break 15k with focused gear and some training.

While Loki has some great videos - Alcast has some very good "beginner" videos about combat, rotation mechanics, and animation cancelling that are a must see.

I am learning weaving/rotation, but I can give u my stats.

Hitting the dummy (that small one, not giving any buff), wt use of ultimate I get 10-15k dps wt a dk cp300

Highest I've gotten was just barely touching 100k on the 21mil dummy, All my raider guild mates had higher and I simply had no idea what I was doing wrong.
