Remember this game is like a 90 gb download, took me forever too. In fact i remember it took 8 hours, i noticed it was counting me as playing the entire time it was downloading because my friend was asking me "how are you playing already" so i restarted computer and when i went to resume download, I instead had to start all over...
like i said though, i already have the game downloaded. i've had it downloaded since 2018, so that wouldn't apply to me :(
the download speed caps at 2MB for some reason, and then drops to 0KB randomly. the download never progresses past 4% and pretty much says at 29004MB remaining the whole time
Its not ZOS. I have "0" problems with download speeds. I usually do these updates in about 20 minutes or less.
You should be looking for a new ISP. There are several ISP in the U.S. known for not liking big game downloads so they throttle your connection ( Google it ). There was open throttling about 6 years ago. Then a decent person made a law that prevented it. Then 4 years ago somebody was elected that once again allowed the ISP to do what ever they want to your connection. Now you get slow downloads or none at all as the ISP's are holding the game companies for ransom to pay more to not throttle you.
You ISP (Internet Service Provider) is purposely slowing down or blocking your download because they want more money from the game companies. I havent played in a few months, or updated. So approx. 3 months of updates I just finished in 9 minutes. ( Thanks to Canadian Internet legislation )
