How do i view my cd key in steam?

if you already reinstall ESO, dont need for CD key, your steam account will automatically connect to your ESO account , just launch the game

but bethesa support are asking for it to fix my account issue bcoz my charecter is lost so they need it

If anyone knows the app ID or what name other than Zenimax ESO may be under in the registry I can see if the key get stored there somewhere. I thought ESO might have another location where it puts registry info.

The APP ID is 306130. I forgot if you check the shorcut target Steam makes for the game the App ID is there. I'm just searching the registry to see if the key is stored there. I hope I wrote my key somewhere easy to find.
There is a product ID at but I guess they want a CD key. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\The Elder Scrolls Online

Alright I sent a request to someone who might know. You'd think bethesda or valve would be able to point you in the right direction. They'd know how this stuff gest stored and how keys are linked to accounts.

If you have an online account already registered you can.


Log into your account at https://account.elderscrollsonline.com.
Click on Billing History on the left side of the screen.
You'll see all of your product keys listed.

Apparently. I've obviously used a different password for the ESO website and can't remember what I would've used back then ATM

Uninstalling the game and reinstalling it is the only solution to fixing problems with
CD-KEY I've seen. If the game was already installed previously with a CD-KEY before they removed them then it hasn't linked the new API from ESO online. Uninstalling it and installing it again will link Steam up to your elderscrollsonline account.

ok thanks there is somthing there which looks like cd key but it just got - everywhere else but it does that the date which i bought the game on ill send them that and hopfully it is the key, but they only email me once every day, 3 days they only email me once a day i know they might be busy but 1 email a day for somthing that dosent seem like a massive issue
