How do you become a skeleton?

I saw this level 8 guy and his whole skin was a complete skeleton,it looked badass so how can i get it?

it's tied to a quest if i remember correctly.

Go in Stillrise village in ShadowFen there is quest The Bargains end, when u finish quest you will get skeleton costume reward.

He is probably talking about the Witches' Festival. In the Crown Store get a free memento Crow Caller and then use it. That will start the quest chain to get you the skeleton morph.

I didn't complete the quest because I didn't want to look like a skeleton, I wasn't sure if you got forced into it and was unable to change back.
Not sure what is "badass" about looking like a skeleton really, I rather have cool looking armor and weapon showing myself :)

The skeletonization lasts two hours. I hate looking like a skeleton (and looking like everyone else) too but you get bonus experience and, sometimes, goodies from bosses.

I like using it every once in a while, but it would be nice to be able to cancel it when its charm wears off.

Me too. I don't really care about the XP so I just want to use it to get Plunder Skulls, but they often don't drop and I keep getting the same recipes anyway.
