Nexus, Reshade, Issues w/ESO

I found a reshade preset at Nexus, it's relatively new, and it's called A PAINTER'S TAKE. The screenshots are freaking breathtaking (especially the daytime ones) and I'm really wanting to try it out. The problem is I've had to reinstall the game two times now because I can't figure out how to get Reshade to work with the Steam executable file for ESO, and it breaks the game, and I can't seem to revert it to a working version. I'm wondering if anyone out there has come up with a sollution for installing a reshade preset manually and not having the game crash before it can launch?

Anytime someone brings up the issue with Nexus not reading the steam executable for ESO, or the fact that Reshade causes it to go bonkers, someone inevitably brings up the fact that Nexus isn't supported any longer and there are much more efficient ways to get addons. The problem is...

RESHADE ISN'T AN ADDON. Just wanted to nip that in the bud.

did you extract the files into
[...]\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client
?

Before I started using nVidia freestyle, I ran ESO with reshade and had no problems. Perhaps you need to try an older version?

Yes, definitely extracted into the correct folder.

Do you mean an earlier version of reshade?
