Main Story Line ?
Is there such thing as a "Main Story Line" in this game ?

In most mmos you know like "Yellow Quests are story, Blue Quests are Side quests"
In this game I have yet to understand what the Main storyline is (at least in Morrowind the area I started at).

I would gladly do all side quests but most of the quests are so big and the game is so MASSIVE that I could only imagine how much time and effort will take to finish them all

As a rule of thumb, "main quests" (understand the main quest of a region, not the solo main quest of the prophet) differenciate by having an achievement (or several) tied to them and they always give skill points at the end of every arc.

If I am unnable to understand or follow the MAIN quest, is it achievable or even worth it to do all the quests I see around ? Is it profitable or a good way to level up for the first time

all quests can be seen in achievements in their order. Open up menu, go to your journal, then into Achievements, then look down list of achievements until you reach QUESTS. Hope this helps.

Not sure about Morrowind, though the main quest of ESO is to help the Prophet (Not sure how this works out with the Morrowind start but I assume it ends up the same)
Every 5 levels or so you meet the prophet and do a main quest.

There's also the alliance questline, whichever Alliance you choose has a faction quest line.
There's also guild quest lines.

I don't have Morrowind but I am using QuestTracker add-on, which groups quests per area for alliance (Deshaan, glenumbra, etc), per crafting for writs, per guild and a separate category for main quest.

AFAIK you just need to talk to the prophet to get the harborage quest which is the beginning of the main solo quest line.

I really recommend the add-on.

The Morrowind main quest starts just outside of Seyda Neen with an injured Armiger. It's possible but somewhat unlikely to miss it if you take some shortcuts (like going "offroad" towards Vivec City). Once you're done with Morrowind (or even at any point before, you just need to make it to a boat that goes there) you can move on to the mainland where you'll be greeted by a special NPC the moment you set foot into a major city. That NPC will start the prophet main quest.

After you have reached a certain level, in Morrowind, not very high.

a messanger will come to you and tell you to go and see someone in Glenumbra.

I don't remember exactly who, you can do this when ever you like after that.

You will be knocked unconsious and end up in prison.

That will set you on a path to escape from prison and start you twoard talking to the Prophet.

He will start you on the main quest in the game.

There is a main story, I always get distracted by the side quests or Dungeons.

In Morrowind the main quest line is 'Divine Intervention' where you help the living God Vivec who's under attack. Just finished it with a toon at lvl 18 and it was awesome. I'm wondering if all regions have a main quest line...

They do.

In Morrowind you start out with that expansion's main questline. After you hit a certain level a mysterious figure will come to you in a town and accepting his quest starts the actual main quest. It's worth doing them because of the skill points you gain, but also for story content imo.
ESO's main story is sort of like Guild Wars 2's personal stories.

If you have Morrowind, you can teleport to your first Alliance main zone where is Harborage:
Vulkhel Guard (Auridon) /
Daggerfall (Glenumbra) /
Davon's Watch (Stonefalls)

and Prophet would contact you to start Main Quest.
