Warden Class
Hey, so I bought ESO when it first got released like 6yrs ago - owner since beta. Only just giving it a proper try, and noticed I don't have the warden class yet have ESO Plus membership + Elsweyr collectors edition, I read somewhere that the base game comes with the Morrowind DLC(?) and warden class, however i've not got the class unlocked to use it

ESO+ only gives access to DLCs, and Warden class is considered Account upgrade (just like the Imperial race).

Let me clarify your statement about the base game a bit. You do not get Morrowind chapter as a part of the base game. The ESO base game (also known as Tamriel Unlimited) does not come with any other chapter or DLC.

The Morrowind DLC only contains the Vvardenfell zone, it does not include the Warden class.

The current ESO Standard Edition includes:
- ESO base game
- Morrowind chapter (Morrowind DLC + Warden class)

If the OP bought one of the Elsweyr editions called "upgrade", neither of them contains any other chapter. See here:

I bought it on sale and I was able to create a warden, so I think you should've gotten the chance too.

I bought this edition:
"Buy The Elder Scrolls Online - Elsweyr
Includes The Elder Scrolls Online base game, the Elsweyr, Morrowind and Summerset Chapters"

well i bought it 6yrs ago when it was first announced, so i'm guessing they just never gave the morrowind dlc and included items to though players unless they bought the dlc when it was available/buy the class from crown store.. which i find horrible

ah right ok, thought i'd read somewhere that it also came with morrowind with the base game, so figured being a owner of base game from beta it'd be given to me too without having to buy the dlc when it was available/buy it from crown store!
yea i know what u mean.... i got 2k hours into it and have been playing since beta as well. morrowind and the warden class used to be together like necro and elsewyr.... when we get a newer class and a newer zone jan.18 is the big day to get more info on skyrim the new zone... then the same will happen to the necro class and elsweyr will be on the dlc list too. if we get a new class, we getting a new zone for sure. :Imperial:

personally they should have gave it to the previous players just for the dedication aspect of it instead they want you to pay more for being a beta player..... sounds about right nowadays.

Ah alright, that clears it up, thanks! Just a shame that beta buyers don't get that due to buying and supporting way back at release I feel!
Oh well, appreciated the help everyone!

Given what I've heard about the launch period I think beta players sure deserve it but I also think (and I'm probably not the only one) that it wouldn't be fair for those who purchased the chapter (either when it was sold here on Steam or now that it is bundled with the base game in the standard edition, or those crazy enough to buy it with crowns).

Not that I'd care enough to grab a pitchfork and a torch and go on a crusade against Zenimax's decision if it ever happened.
