But you can try both and see which feels less laggy in practice. As for players... I'd say they are about the same. I've seen equally as many helpful players on both sides, however EU makes it a bit harder to communicate with all of them, since there is a lot more languages. German, Russian, Spanish and so on.
As for dungeons no matter which server you choose if you're playing DD and using dungeon finder you'll get a huge queue.
Because of the different time zones there may however not be many players on.
Good for looting, not so good for meeting people.
