How come dungeon finder takes so long?

As a healer it usually takes a few seconds AT MOST for me to get a dungeon. Today I was sitting for a good 20 minutes.

sometimes it's buggy and re queueing gets a quick dungeon

yeah its always been that way also dps have longer ques but not by much by wow standards (even though I hate that game) b/c everyone can multiclass abilitys and help other catagorys some

usually my average wait is about 30sec-2 mins as a healer or tank.
as a dps it ranges from 5 mins to 15 mins roughly which is fine for me I usually quest in the mean time or work on professions.

vet dungeons take quite a bit longer. due to gear requierments and not as many queing.

Just queue as tank but play as dps. Normal dungeon is super braindead.
