After the sub expires, you can not add materials to the bag, but you can still withdraw what is in there.
Ditto for bank and houses.
This is why during eso+ free trials there are so many players, there´s just so much to do and even monthly paying players of eso+ can benefit from more players being active and available for more dungeons and trials.
This is also why a lot of us mostly play in preparation for eso+ free trials now that they are less frequent(or I feel them like that) , like planning and buying more furniture for the time when you can finally use it, saving rings for jewelery skill grinding, etc, etc.
If you are not high CP i suggest to complete small zone DLCs (like Dragonhold)
Also you can grab all skyshards from all zones, then return to your main questing zone.
If you are cp300+ i suggest to grab some good Monster Sets in DLC dungeon. Like Scalecaller peak, Ruins of Mazzatun
Well, the most "important" thing in an eso+ free trial I would say it´s mostly doing things you generally can´t. I suggest that, if you don´t have summerset, you go there and do the Jewelery crafting quest in order to access that crafting station. Then, if you don´t have dark brotherhood and thieves guild I would advice you do at least the first quest to both, and fast travel to both areas in order to gain for free new personalities, pets, etc. After that you´ll have to chose which DLC you want to prioritizesince you won´t be able to do them all, visit the areas and explore if you want, but I suggest focusing on one DLC area and try to finish it, at least the main quest. If you are low level and you plan to use your main also as a crafter you are going to need more skyshards, so it will be a good idea to hunt down the skyshards on those DLC areas. And finally, if you´re into house decoration, make sure to visit the home goods furniture merchant for all those new areas, and maybe even peek at the things the achievement furniture merchant has (you probably won´t be able to buy nothing from him, but maybe you´ll see a specific furniture you may want so that will help you focus on what DLCs you would do first, for instance in this eso+ I´ve done Psychic Order because I wanted the Augur for my house (it´s a talking crystal skull).
It´s always important to remember what was said on the first responses of this thread: Everything you achieve, you keep it, but the new content will revert back to being blocked. This means you that you can keep the missions active but not complete them, the skills you got but won´t be able to get other ones or level up the skill tree, you will still see the icons of things you dicovered in that map but you won´t be able to travel there, if you buy a DLC house you can go to the house, but if you exit the door you will teleport to the previous location rather than exit to the new area...
It's a permanent free sneaky backstab.
