According to ZOS 3 months ago, the player base was roughly 15 million strong.

Personally I would like to know what the population differences are between EU PC and NA PC as I hear some claims EU has way more players and is way laggier because of that.
But I don't buy it.

15 million purchases over PC, PS4 and Xbox is not that massive. Considering there are over 200 million unique steam accounts, 100 million PS4 and 30 million Xbox.

And the base game is cheap as ♥♥♥♥.

A few years ago i picked up the PS4 physical copy for like 10 bucks

And it still 10 bucks.

Yeah, it´s on the top most played MMO´s for sure, i´m just saying 15m is not that big of a deal even less considering that ESO has not only a broader reach but also the Elder Scrolls name behind it.


Either way, i´m just saying is not a number that OP should consider something to doubt... it´s not far from the reality.

There's well enough players on ESO to make it active and fun. Who cares if it's millions of players? Do you only play games based on an insane amount of players? If that's that case, go play Fortnite.
