Can I join House Telvanni?

Just bought the game the other day. Then realised that, naturally, I want to join House Telvanni because who doesn't want to be a slave-owning wizard lord? So I bought Morrowind as well.

Installed and started on Vvardenfell - went straight to Sadrith Mora. Did the quest "Hireling of House Telvanni," thinking I could join them. But that didn't happen.

Can I join them? I really hope I can as I spent £40 specifically so that I could do so...

I can't find anything yet, just they have an achievement for finishing a series of quests for them.


You really should attempt to research things before you buy it. This applies to everything in life.

In retrospect, it's not as if I don't want the DLC if I can't be Telvanni. Just annoying. I have searched high and low for a definitive answer, and not found one.

and no, you cant "join" any of the houses, theres an achivment, but thats about it

Damn well that sucks. Thanks for the responses, everyone - much appreciated. I don't regret buying it at all, I just regret that I can't join my favourite House ;)

you can do a quest about a slave and get a tattoo and be considered a "telvanni" but there are no quests after that

Unless something changes and they add the opportunity to join house Telvanni proper, could I ask people to stop bumping a year-old thread which has already been answered in detail, please?

What embarrassment? There's nothing embarrassing about wanting to join the Telvanni, it comes from knowing and enjoying TESIII! It's the devs of this crappy game who should be embarrassed...
