The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online

Actual game size
Hello. Sorry for my bad english
I've played TESO for 1,5 years, and its size was ~80 GB before Morrowind update. After update, I started the launcher to update my client, and its said that 60 GB of free space isn't enough. I thought it some kind of bug, so reinstalled the game. Okay, steam have downloaded 73,8 GB again, and after starting the launcher its says that I need 87 GB more. Is it normal, that update weight is 87 GB or it's a bug? Help me, pls, if this true, my hard space isn't enough to play my favourite game :c

Steam just downloading 80 GB of setup files. Then the files must be installed and it is another 73GB. You must have 157GB free to completly install the game. After all, 80GB of setup files will be deleted and it will be just the game of 73GB.

I wonder if it's working that way. So If I have only ~120GB there's no chance for me to reinstall TESO? :C
Thanks

ESO installation process is badly done. While majority of the games make reg keys and start downloading the files ESO download files, them makes reg keys and then proceeds to unpack those files making the actual needed size double from suggested.
I remember TERA having this bad system aswell.

You need atleast 70-80GB for download and then another for installation, then it removes those files you originally downloaded.

No matter what version of ESO you buy, ZOS downloads the WHOLE game to your PC. Why you might ask, because when you buy just base game and later decide to buy Morrowind it's already downloaded to your pc and once you buy Morrowind, you need to close game and steam and then start steam and ESO up again and go play as Morrowind is ready to play. ZOS recommands 85GB of free space for game installation.

Thanks to all, the trouble is resolved. :)
I just wonder, why before reinstallation, Morrowind update took 60 GB and tells that is not enough .-.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how I can help you. I've cleaned up my hard disc to get ~180gb free space and then installated TESO. You need a HDD, I think
