Sharing bank with several characters?

Lets say I decide to play with few characters on one server. Can I interchange items and money between them through bank? Or bank for each character is totally separated?

If I want to be doing lots of blacksmithing, and crafting, as well asfighting, would you recommend creating specialized character for each, and storing appropriate materials? Is it what people usually do or what?

No, on the contrary, if you're serious about crafting, do all 6 skills on one char, because you'll need achievements from all crafting skills (which are char bound) to raise master writ drops, furniture recipes require also several skills (sometimes 3 or 4), and motifs are also char bound.

Also the higher your level ( both combat/cp and smithing/woodcutting/ ect) you will find higher lev stuff. A new character will find iron when high level will see higher lev stuff

Getting all the traits though will be a ♥♥♥♥♥.

Traits are much easier now if you can get ahold of 9 vouchers a day for 3 cooldown timers.
