Login error, account verification.
Hi I've purchased the game during the free weekend. I had no problems logging in before buying the game, however after buying it I get an error when I try to login.

The error is: Your account must be verified in order to continue to play. Check the email you used to create an ESO account for instruction on how to complete the verification process.

I've had no e-mail. My Steam account has the same e-mail as my eso account but I originally made my eso account from when the game was in beta. I've also logged in to my eso account but it doesn't show that I have a game linked to it.

This worked for me thanks to xxxVIKTORxxx

Make sure you'r browser is full screen then do the following:

Go here; https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/login

Where it says create account below that you should see sign in with steam, sign in using your steam details. You may have a steam security check, just follow the on screen prompt. Once done you will have a message saying account not verified, but you will have the option to resend the verification e-mail. Click resend, this e-mail will go to your e-mail address that is linked to your steam account.

I had to do this twice, the first time verification failed. This might not be the case for you. Once done you will need to register name and password and thats it. You should now be able to login to your eso account by clicking sign in with steam. Check you have an active account. If you do close steam and the eso client, restart pc. Now login in to steam and try eso.

Having the same problem. Bought through steam and no verification code sent. Can't login now.
Submitted a ticket but could be 24hrs for a response.

Not happy about this.

did you check the spam folder of the email you used in the beta?

did you check the spam folder of the email you used in the beta?

As i have same problem, i checked spam (as it recommends on the web). Problem is that i cannot login on the elderscrolls web page too.

Same here. Played ok on weekend, now game asked for verification code I didn't get. Re-sending the code didn't work, nothing in the mail box. Opened a ticket, not even a mail confirmation that the ticket was opened.

Hello,

have you tried reseting your password.If I remember correctly once you registered on the eso site it said you had 3 days to verify your account.

Also check some of the other tabs it might gone too not necessarly spam folder depending on the webmail provider you're using.

ya same problem here notohing in spam folder nothing anywhere its been 5 days since purchase still havent been billed but managed to log 3 days of game play then nothing this verification bull s@#t is exactly that bull s&^t eso contacted me askig if the problem was resoveld thats as far as ive gotten

**Update** I've had a reply to my message, but it wasn't much help all I got was a premade response to see if I still need help -.- This is a lazy ass response, I mean they warn you that it will take 1 day for a reply, so when they do reply why not include some suggestions I could at least try. Not gonna be a happy bunny if there next reply is to uninstall reinstall.

To anyone having this issue, if you haven't contacted their support page I'd recommend you do it asap if you want to get it sorted sooner rather than later, you may as well get the ball rolling and start the support process.
how can you contact support when it requires you to log in? i'm also having the same issue

Same problem here. :/ At least we are not alone. Sent the ticket but no response from the support.
