InstallAnywhere?
I downloaded the game for the free weekend, however, after trying to boot up the game, InstallAnywhere will pop up, and after reaching 100% won't do anything. Any help?

Also tried running it from the application file directly, but then it won't let me log in due to a "invalid or out-dated client"

I have this same issue

I know that's irrelevant for what you're looking for, but my friend is having the SAME issue. We're still looking for a fix.

I seem to have found a solution that seems to have worked for me or at least gotten me further along to the point where its actually installing the game.

If your launcher is stuck, you can do the following to fix it:
Download the installer for ESO:TU from https://account.elderscrollsonline.com
Open the Control Panel
Click 'Add/Remove Programs'
Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86
Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64
Restart your PC
Run install_ESO.exe (which you downloaded earlier)
Select to install both DirectX and VC++ 2010 Redistributable and complete the installation
Restart the PC once more

Note that uninstalling the c++ stuff might give you errors when you restart your PC, as it did with me; however once I installed ESO and it installed VC++ and then I restarted AGAIN, I did not have the errors. (the errors were about DBAgent.exe not being able to run, this was something to do with my seagate dashboard)

Hi

Had this problem, tried all the solutions on here. Nothing worked. Then I updated Java. Fixed.

Hope this helps!

My Java is up to date.

Update it again and, when it asks you to, delete old versions.

I already logged in with my ESO account. It's giving me the option to redeem a code, or buy the game.

Im tryng to do all of this, nothing helped for me.

if you can get the actual launcher from a friend and place it in steam directory that will force start the ESO launcher and it will download patchs. The patch itself is only about 30mb ish i think or slightly more, but the download once the laucher is on is about 1-12/16 depending on how busted your game is. It worked for me so hopefully it does for you too
