ESO InstallAnywhere Java error opening registry

So, I decided to download this game to test it out before buying.
Game downloaded, I click "PLAY". InstallAnywhere thing pops up.
Aaaand at 100% it decides to shove up my face this:
"Error opening registry key 'Software\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment'"
I'm on Windows 10. I know that I am not the only one experiencing this.
Why can't we just get a normal Game Launcher with the 65GB+ we had to download?
I can't download it from the official site, and because of this "InstallAnywhere" Java crap I can't install it anywhere at all. Thanks.
And yes, I reinstalled Java about three times now, rebooting changes nothing. Been searching Google for about two hours now.
Help? Pretty please?

Well for me when I donwloaded the game the "Launcher" folder and application was missing every time so I had a friend email it to me lol

uninstal win 10 install 7 itwill work

if you are using 2 hard drives and your windows temp folder is on a drive that steam is not then move your windows temp location to the same hard drive that your steam instal folder is on and it'll work fine, had this same issue.

i also posted a fix, i just bumped it to the top of the list again.

just uninstall win 8 10 and install 7 gg

it's not windows, worked perfect for me on w10 last month so stop that "hating windows 10 is cool" BS and learn some facts.

it's zenimaz and or bethesda that's done a piss poor job with steam.

go to Steam\steamapps\common\Zenimax Online and start zosSteamStarter..
