Which fraction/alliance?

Hey,
the last time I played ESO is 1,5 years ago.... If I rember correctly at this time the daggerfall alliance was poorly populated. It was mostly a fight between Ebony pact and Aldmeri in Cyrodiil..

How is the situation right now? Are the alliances of equal size or do I have to fear getting killed over and over again by huge zerks if i choose the wrong alliance?

I find it odd that EP has a reasonably sized population. Normally in MMOs people choose their race for looks rather than anything else, and EP has what many would consider 'the least desirable' of the races, since Argonians aren't everyone's cup of tea and Dark Elves have that weird thing going on with their eyes, only Nords are what most people would consider a nice looking race. With that, AD has two 'pretty' elf races which satisfies many people's 'pretty face' requirements, and Khajit, which has always been a fairly popular race among Elder Scrolls fans, and DC has Breton and Redguard which fulfills the needs of those who dislike 'not being human' and Orcs which are a mixed bag of tricks.
By normal MMO standards, AD would be the most populated (which it is so nothing strange there!) but then DC would be second most populated, and EP would be the least. Quite strange that it's the other way round with those two.
