Warden, templar, or DK for werewolf?
Werewolf is fun as hell, but i need to pick the right class this time, because grinding for the werewolf skills takes so long.
Ive already tried sorc, i found it really boring.
I tried nightblade, didnt find it boring but nightblade is way too squishy for my taste.

This isn't a really good approach. You should pick the class depending on passives and ult generation. You don't actually want to spend a lot of time in the regular form,so it shouldn't matter if the class is good or not. If you get stuck at the grinding part it's gonna be difficult. Sorcerer is the best class for werewolfs when you have everything unlocked, but if you didn't test it at full strength how can you compare ?

by the way I don't really get the boring part, playing a stamsorc is exactly the same as playing a werewolf, since you mostly only use passive skills with a stamsorc, the only difference is that you use weapon skills while not in wolf and you use wolf skills the rest of the time, there is actually no real sorcerer stuff involved there.

On the choices left, 2 are for tanks (dk and warden) and templar might work as it's balanced but if you want an offensive werewolf and don't pick a sorcerer or a nightblade it's going to be hard.

Thanks, ill try stamsorc again, i guess your right, i dont need to use sorc abilities, i didnt know how to play a stamsorc so i was going with the skill advisor and it sucked hard.

StamSorc mainly uses buffs from the Sorc skill line and DPS skills from the Dual Wield skill line. Mine uses either Bloodthirst(DW) or Steel Tornado(DW) in the 1st slot depending on whether I'm going up against single or groups of mobs. Blood Craze(DW) in the 2nd slot. Deadly Cloak(DW) in the 3rd. Hurricane(Sorc) in the 4th. Critical Surge(Sorc) in the 5th. Werewolf in the Ult for the 15% boost to Stam Recovery.

When I go into a fight it's pretty much 5,4,3,2 and then hit 1 when needed. It also helps if your crit rating is above at least 50%.

I can do about 10-15k DPS to a single target or about 70K DPS to groups of enemies with this setup. Don't go by the Skill Advisor as they make some very poor decisions when it comes to StamSorcs.

When you enter the proving grounds as you first get werewolf .,,,, STAY DO NOT LEAVE ! You are able to stay in werewolf form permanently ! You can level up to level 10 werewolf in just an hour or two ! //// You do want plenty of storage room though or you spend ages destroying stuff as until the bodies are looted thy don't like respawning

Yeah a Stamsorc is not a bad choice, you have several good passives that even work on werewolf form while most passives of other classes dont. Also you have reduced ultimate cost which is handy for a werewolf.

10-15k DPS is really not that high, it's ultra low, even solo without group support. Even on a robust tank I often do more while buffing the group and handling the boss. I even managed to do more without any gear...

On my pure DD builds I sometimes reach more in single target than your AOE damage while reaching up to 10x the AOE damage you mentioned.

Or just go to a public dungeon with plenty adds (I have one favorite) where you can also stay permanently on werewolf form because of the plenty easy to kill adds and level it up in less than an hour. I think I even leveled both morphs of every werewolf skill in about an hour.

Oh I didn't see that it's an old post. It just popped up as a new one to me because of the guy before my post replied to this thread.

Ok (about?) 3 years back my damage was also only about 20k (not trial dummy numbers) and I still remember my first vet depth of malatar run and how bad things became at the second last boss (tank didn't stack the clones). That was for me the point where I realized that my damage was to low and started to increase it.
