Can't morph ability when level up? Help please

Hi, I already know this will probably sound dumb to me once I am more experienced at the game.
But anyway, I am playing a sorcerer.
I selected 'endless fury' ability. And my recommended path says to take 'Mages Rath'.
But it won't allow me to pick it. When I select it, it just shows me endless fury and a bar underneath that isn't filled. How do I fill it?

Check if you have any skill points to use. If you don't have any, you can't morph.

I do have 2. It says something about respec'ing? If that matters.

If you already morphed a skill it you can't change your morph without respeccing.

Nope! Each skill, when it hits rank IV, gets two morphs. Once you select one, that's it. In order to use the different morph, you'll need to reset your skill points and select it again.

This is actually one of the things about this game that becomes a hassle later. Rather than being able to un-morph particular abilities, you have to reset everything any time you want to change even one morph..

Nope... They changed it a few patches ago. Now when you respec you can do them individually. You have to tell it to wipe everything if that is what you want to do. It still costs the same but you can pick and choose what you want to take back to respec.
