What to do with stolen treasure?
Would i make more money selling it to a fence or laundering it and selling it to a merchant?

Laundering costs as much as selling it to a merchant, so you don't make profit for laundering then selling (and you lose money if you don't sell a laundered item). The option is there for items you want to keep or give/sell to players. Always fence if you just want to sell to merchants.

The other reason for laundering is IIRC the Covetous Countess wants things you can only get by stealing (Despite being able to make similar furniture items.) but wants them legal. I can't remember if that is also true for the Crow Court.

Launder for the craft items to stack with the legal stuff.

And you can only fence x amount per day. If you launder the same amount you can increase legerdermain twice as fast. At 19 it makes forcing locks much more likely to succeed.
Also don't bother fencing armor / weapons. From my understanding the materials can be broken down without any issues.

for materials yeah, but if your trying to level crafting you get like 10x the xp if you launder it first.

I levelled up via laundering/selling goods from a place that's been taken over by bandits. The items are still marked as stolen but they're not really stolen. I didn't want to be a thief but wanted to level up ledgerdemain to be able to open chests as I can't pick them. That's my defence your Honor.
