Rings and Necklaces

Maybe a dumb question but i'm pretty new to the game and still learning.
But can someone explain to me what the difference is between a low and high level ring or Necklace?

When i cfaft a necklace or ring i craft him as high as i can. Im level 15 now so i craft them lvl 14. But what is the difference between a high level or low level ring? Because i cant see it anywhere. Has it to do with glyphs you attach or something?

The lower the level of an item is compared to your character's level (including Champion Points level up to 160), the lower bonuses it gives you.

If you have a level 10 character and you are using a level 10 item, you get full bonuses. If you equip a level 1 item instead, you will notice the much lower bonuses.

You will soon see that you need to train your crafting skills to be able to craft items at your character level.

Wearing crafted rings and necklaces won't serve any purpose unless they have a trait, a glyph and/or a crafted equipment set bonus. You can research the first three traits quite easily - magicka, stamina and health. The others require special effort to acquire.
