Grinding mages guild sucks

Seriously? a lorebook only gives you 5 points and you unlock the ultimate at level 10?
Is there any faster way to do this?

As far as I know the books are unfortunately the only way to level Mages Guild, and you need to find an absolute ♥♥♥♥ ton of them; like the equivalent of 100% lorebook collection in 9 or 10 zones .

Downloading an addon that displays their exact location, getting a few podcasts in a playlist, and just running across all of Tamriel being the universe's most determined librarian is probably the best way to "farm" the skill line.
