If it works and creates no problems then great.
Yep, only do this when the download is 100% completed.
P.S. I apologize for my bad language.
Thank you OP
For our good luck, someone heard you and Zenimax took action. This is being linked with Zenimax post about this absurdly and unjustifiably big update.
They also add that we can uninstall the PTS by legit way, that is, using uninstall option at the very launcher. Space-saver for my laptop that was complaining of being nearly full for months.
To the OP, thx for this. It reached far and benefits many.
However, we'll be re-investigating removing any unused languages from the Steam version. That's a lot of extra space you could all be saving.
Thanks, having something like the client asking us to choose our language would be neat. 20gb is a lot
After downloading ESO completely, you can safely remove the VO folders for languages you do not use. For additional updates, the patcher will only update the VO files for any languages you already have installed.
Note that for users who completely uninstall ESO in the future, if they return and re-download the game, they will be required to re-download all available VO languages.
I've updated the Update 25 FAQ to reflect this.
