Certainly for PvE, don't get hung up on min/maxing unless that's what you enjoy. You'll get away with anything you want to have fun with. PvP is probably a bit more serious but I don't indulge :)

There's no such thing as a race sucking for certain types of character - just "sub-optimal"

Play what you like - have fun learning

Dotz and AlcastHQ have good PvE builds - and feel free to substitue DW for One-Handed anytime you want.

The Stamblade rotation is very hard to keep consistent - so be willing to train... alot... and the train some more. Use Combat Metrics add-on to determine you "sustained" damage
