uh, the devs are the ones who inserted the audio effects?
If we all had our pet hates deleted it would be a very silent Tamriel.
Genuinely suggesting this - not dissing your opinion but - headphones or turn effects down in settings?
Come on devs, we play games to get away from that kind of stuff in real life
Yes,its unzivilized behavior.
But really, what do you expect when youre going to a tavern where(to bring up the typical tavern cliche)you might find thieves, mercenaries or just alcoholics?
Especially in medieval times(yes,i know eso has its own lore),most people had horrible manners, from our perspective,a lot of them have been poor and not well educated.
They had other problems than to worry about burping or yawning.
In ESO,just like in real life, you will find all kind of npc,s.
Some are smart, some are stupid, others act very formal and others simply dont give a damn and just want to drink it out at a tavern.
It makes sense for the,,common folk''to have bad manners in this situation, and it makes the world of eso more believeable and authentic.
Would be horrible if every npc out there had superb table manners and always spoke formal...why would a simple farmer or fisherman act like that?
Speak for yourself mate,i enjoy playing in a authentic world.
