How to get back to my Faction's starting area?
Greetings all,

So I am really enjoying ESO, got all DLCs, but since Elsweyr is the latest DLC that is where i started as a Khajiit; i was told by veterans that the game lets you start questing in the latest DLC pack you own.

However, I want to start a new Ebonheart, Daggerfall, and Aldmeiri alts and play their own respective starting areas, how can i do that? I tried reading about the lore behind each Alliance and I would really like to start leveling from there.

Also, I feel overwhelmed with all the DLC quests in the collections tab. I have many quests to start since I own DLCs and have an active ESO subscription. When do i start these quests, I am pretty sure they were not even in order.

I knew all this before I started but I was like I am just trying the game for now, but I fell in love and I want to start like it was 2014 launch day.

Any help, or guidance to websites with guidance etc. is greatly appreciated.

Go see the benefactor when you're approached.

You can't do every quest all at the same time. There's a recent earlier thread on this that might even be on this page. You have to be strong and leave people by the wayside. You can always come back to them when you've got time.

There is a good thread on the ESO webpage. Google "ESO which order to play the game" and it should come up.

Open Map and use the Wayshrine(s).
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I currently have the quest to go see the benefactor, guess I'll do it once I fully finish Elsweyr.

Thanks for the info.

I found this from the ESO forums, which explains it chronologically.

Don't get overwhelmed with the DLC collections stuff. Apart from the Chapters, those are mostly DLC dungeons, which you don't even have access to until certain levels. Youre journal con only hold 25 quests at a time, and those DLC quests will always be available to you as long as you own or have access to them. Thieves guild, Dark Brotherhood, Orsinium, Clockwork, Murkmire, and Dragonhold are zone DLCs though, and worth doing, but dont feel rushed
