What's that UI from?
The dark one in the north-west corner, not sure what it does or what addon/setting it came from.

This is just the Live Report window to check numbers happening at the very moment during a fight.

Combat Metrics records the whole fight. With a hotkey you can open the Main Window of Combat Metrics where it shows you everything that happend in the fight.

Buff & Debuff uptimes, DPS, Healing, Crit, Overpenetration etc. etc.

Can you see numbers for other players individually? the best I saw scanning the combat screen and different tabs was a percentage of my dmg compared to the whole group.

In terms of damage you can only see the group damage and ofc every part of your own performance.

The big + why Combat Metrics is essential to every serious group is that you can spot and analyze flaws, mistakes and other useful stuff.
You can check the uptimes of every debuff on every single enemy and of course buffs that you received from your group or yourself.

This way it's easy to see optimize groups.

Example:. A low uptime on Alkosh means that the tank is either no getting enough synergies or is not in the right position during the fight. A low uptime of Crusher, Elemental Drain etc. means that Healers or Tanks are doing ♥♥♥♥.
If the Templar Healer is doing smth. like a 20% uptime on MK, then it's useless to play the set.

You get the point.

For checking other players individual damage, AddOns need to interact with each other which often conflicts with other AddOns.

Groups use "Hodor Reflexes", since it shows the individual DPS in a list, as well as Warhorn and Colossus Uptimes/ Ultimate from Healer+Tanks.

If you want the full blast you gotta log the entire run, upload it to ESOLogs and can than analyze everything into the detail.

ail.
I didn't even know what synergies was until I started reading about it here, and now get what those "push x" prompts where, even though how to utilise them well or recognise them during play, gg to that.

I guess elemental drain is supposed to be up at all times on anything stronger then a normal mob if i'm playing a magsorc then.

Synergies have different benefits. For example, a healers main synergy is the skill "Energy Orb" from the Undaunted Skill-Line. The Orb is flying in one direction, providing heal and the option to activate a synergy to everyone in range.

Players who activate the Synergy will get 4000 Stamina or Magicka, depending on what they are built. Without Synergies the group sustain is horrendous and therefore also the DPS suffers.
Players have a 20 second cooldown after activating the Synergie.

There are many different Synergies that will benefit the sustain, dps and survivability. Making good use of them and having a high uptime on them is essential.

Elemental Drain is normally applied by the Tank or Healers, but yes it should always be up at 100%. Major Breach and Fracture will benefit the group DPS and also give back Magicka. So having a really really high uptime is especially important when running in a Magicka group.

MK = Martial Knowledge[eso-sets.com]

If you're below 50% Stamina your light attacks can debuff the enemy to take 8% more damage for 5 seconds, followed by 8 seconds cooldown before you can do it again.

Theoretical the max. uptime is 62,5% if you're timing it on the milisecond, but being consistantly below 50% stamina at a specific time requires you to have mastered the trial specific mechanics, because you don't have much of a puffer when you fk up.

It's a set that is really good on Templar Healers, since they use POTL anyways. But if you aren't good enough in keeping up with the mechanics without struggling in keeping a good uptime on it, another set is better.
