Where to buy storage ?
Hi its me again, not spend a single hour of this game without googling how to do this and that.

I am currently level 8 and looking to buy some storage so I can store the materials in case I need them later for crafting.

I know you can buy a storage chest using crowns, but paying £20 for a storage chest no thank you. any way axpanding you intentory storage or storing your items not using crown currency?

Actually, at this stage, should I bother collecting material at all ?

You're obviously talking to the wrong npc. Anybody can use a bank at any time. You buy bank storage from them, as well as store your stuff there.

There are Way:
> Pack Merchant -> Can increase your inventory space for gold
> Open the Bank and you will have an option to increase your bank space in exchange for gold.

ESO+ is probably the best way for it.
10´bucks each month for double sized bank + an endless bag for storing crafting materials.
Next to each DLC and other stuff

@OP - You may find these two links useful:

This is also a good source of information on the game:

I would recommend checking this on Inventory:

You can also increase your character's bag capacity by training your mount's Capacity riding skill:

1. Go to the stables and buy capacity riding lessons every day: +1 inventory (up to+60) which kicks in when you assign a horse to your character. You can use the lessons before you have a horse. If you don't have a horse yet you get the free one at level 10. Start the riding lessons.

2. Go to the nearest bank. Talk to the banker, go to your bank (not guild bank or store). At the bottom there will be an option to increase storage for gold. That's +10 (up to bank max of 240) but each addition costs more gold.

3. Find the pack merchant in the main cities (symbol of a sack). You can buy +10 (up to inventory up to bag max 140, stacks with riding lessons for max 200)

If you need more than that, you can get a free storage coffer at lvl18 which you can put in your free inn room or house if you have one. That's +30 slots but they are only accessible when you go to the chest. The other chests are crown store only or writ vouchers which you are probably too low level to have started earning. You can go to crown gifting guilds (I use Tamriel Crown Exchange on discord) to request a crown store gift of the chests and you pay with game gold. Current TCE exchange rate is 200g to 1 crown. There are cheaper sellers in zone but many are scammers {I lost 410k gold to one} so it's yours to risk.

You can also sub to ESO+ but that only takes crafting materials off your storage, which is a huge help when farming because you don't have to worry! But it does nothing for gear and treasure so there's that.

At all times you need to ruthlessly curate what you hoard. If you're not using it, research/decon/sell/destroy immediately.
