Everything scales right? what's the point in getting stronger?
Unless I'm confused, sorry I'm rather new. Could someone explain how the scaling works now?

Its more that the effective bonuses per level are small enough that low levels can adequately contribute for much of the content. You get an invisible set of bonuses that closes most of the pre One Tamriel gap between your level and CP 160.

Other than more skill points and thus a wider range of skills and the impovements to abilities as they level up. Once you get to CP 160 things stop scaling up and you get better.

Does it not kill the sense of progression though somewhat? Like the whole progressing and getting stronger?

funny, i was actually thinking that earlier when attacked by a wolf. not sure exactly how the scaling works, but im sure theres a reason somewhere, ha
They did it so tes people would stop complaining about leveled zones. It was kind of better before tho tbh. now most content is either too easy to needs a group.

There is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig difference between a lvl4 char and someone with lvl 50 cp 810
Every monster has lvl 50 cp 160, as long you were under this cap you have a bonus.
However lvl 50 with 64 skill points is not the same as lvl 50 with 200 skill points and cp 810 (or lvl 4 with 4 skill points).

the armor and dmg of the weapon were lvl based ,means a lvl 50 cp 160 makes the same dmg as a lvl 4 for a lvl 4 but someone with lvl 6 with make less dmg with a lvl 4 weapon. The point is finding your sets.

The skill points will make you a lot stronger not only because new attack skills but also because the passives and the champion points have even more bonuses.

I can kill easy a group of 6-8 mobs in 3-4 sek without taking any serious dmg, cannot remember I could do that with a lvl 6 char.

Thing about boxing if you have the right wight to fight in the heavyweight category it doesnot mean that you have any chance agains a experienced boxer.

One Tamriel saved eso and was hugely appreciated and liked when it came out, people who think it made the game worse are just salty vets who should be playing some other game by now .

it destoryed scaling and turned the early game into a grind to get through. The right idea pulled of in an awful way.

You actually get weaker as you level. All enemies are at lvl 50 cp160, and you get the most stats boost the further you are from that level, and that boost diminishes as you get closer.

However you gain more abilities to effectively deal with enemies as you level while your stats get weaker, eg. stack abilities and buffs for more dps, or use abilities to increase defense and self heal.

After you've reached cp160, you're no longer boosted and you start getting stronger by grinding cp points and using them for small passive increase to your stats.
