What server do you play on? I can always get you to teleport to me there.

  • Walk/ride there manually
  • If from a different alliance, fast travel to that alliance's wayshire then follow the above step
  • You can also teleport to a player (be it a friend or guild member) that is currently in Eastmarch via the social menu

Oh, for Pete's sake, definitely don't walk all the way there! Take a ship.

You should be able to get to Davon's Watch (in Stonefalls) from any area; the wayshrine will be unlocked for you at any level. Run down to the docks. Hop on a ship from Davon's Watch to the Rift; once you arrive in the Rift, turn right around and click on the same exact navigator (the dark elf), and click on the option to go to Eastmarch. Once you arrive on the Eastmarch docks, you are a quick walk/ride to the festival tent. The whole process should take 3-4 minutes, tops.

dont you have to get to stonefall beforehand? and complete the quests bulding up to be able to get to the rift and then walk to east march?
Exilyth Dec 22, 2018 @ 5:53pm
Why would you need to do a quest to leave stonefalls? Use the sneaky low route around fort Virak and you can just ride to the rift.

Well, this is completely false.

Seriously, just take a boat there. There are no prerequisites for the holiday events.

you can get a boat to the desert but you are still going to have to walk or ride to get to the location were the quest is. same for the other locations in the holiday quests.

Dude, this is not my first New Life Festival. You are making this unnecessarily complicated for the new folks (and possibly for yourself.).

It could not be easier. Do what I said above: anyone, of any faction, at any level, can take the unlocked wayshrine to Davon's Watch in Stonefalls. You do not need to have done any other particular quests... you can roll straight out of the tutorial and head directly there. I know, as I have done this on a few alts over the last couple of years. Take a ship in Davon's Watch to the Rift; don't even leave the docks, literally just click on the same Dark Elf navigator to go to Eastmarch. Once you arrive on the Eastmarch docks, you will need to walk/ride about 30 seconds to find the festival tent. Once there, you talk to Breda and start picking up holiday quests.

There is no need to walk or ride for any great distance. There is no need to make it overly complicated.

Your exact words were:

This is incorrect. There is no mandatory pre-quest to get to Eastmarch. Now, if you pick up the (free) holiday scroll from the crown store, and start the quest, it will be easier to find the holiday tent as it will be marked on your map. But it is not mandatory at all, certainly not to get to Eastmarch. You can pick it up anywhere at any time: before Stonefalls, after you get to Eastmarch, or not at all. Either way you will be able to pick up daily quests from Breda if you just talk to her.

No my exact words were actually " dont you have to get to stonefall beforehand? and complete the quests bulding up to be able to get to the rift and then walk to east march?" thats not false information its a question which i then questiond again about.. and my following comment after that was not about getting to Eastmarch it was about getting to the other locations for the quests you get from Eastmarch. regardless of taking a boat You will still have to mission to get to the locations to do the quests.
