The Nightblade class matches well with the Dracula style.
I do not think I need to say that you have to become a vampire, I suggest looking for someone who is a vampire to transform you. (Unfortunately, I am no longer, if not I would give you a hand.)
Vampire is a good choice for the character focused on magicka.
Defense of fire and magicka are always viable for this build.
As long as you have mana you have life ... focus on increase and regeeration of mana and you will almost never get low life.
And Dark Elves make the coolest looking vampires, so you may want to pick that race. Their facial structure (especialy the eyebrows) is just totally fitting the theme. Add some long dark hair and you'll have a beautiful vampire ready to murder anyone in his way. If you pick one of the darkest skin colors too, then your vampire won't look as pale in stage 4.
If you picked Nord Dragonknight, but you really want a "vampire count" kind of character, then I advise that you start over with a new character as in the long run you're going to have more fun with that character. At least in my experience. I tend to play my characters who I have a cool name and outfit or backstory with.... and my others characters tend to be in the background, only getting little playtime. You spend a lot of time looking at your character in MMOs and it's much better to think "I have such a cool character" than to play a character for 1000 hours and despise him every time you look at him... which is pretty much all the time. Of course, gameplay is important too, but in this game there is not that much difference in terms of gameplay between classes. Any class can be any role, and any class can play magicka or stamina builds, everyone can use every weapon etc.... so it's mostly the same with all classes.
Draconic powers would be the line of choice, with some earthen heart abilities.
