What's up with rare blue fish drop rates
I need my last rare fish to complete the Shadowfen Angler achievement, it's a blue rarirty ''Shark tadpole'' that drops from rivers

So far it has been:

3 Days of farming where I spend at least 5 hours fishing each day
950+ Insect parts used
823 and something common fish
34 gunny sacks, not counting the ones I opened to clear inventory space
A few trashy furnishing items
Lots of fish roe
Dozens of green rarity fish (Boga, Opah and Hardyhead from shadowfen rivers)

And not a SINGLE shark tadpole, that without counting the struggle of finding fishing spots, going from wayshrine to wayshrine after they are all depleted, farming bait and buying stacks from guild store just for it to run out and the countless hours just dying from boredoom hoping the next catch is the last one I need

Is there anything i'm doing wrong? I'm using the correct type of bait, getting every other river catch except the blue fish, tried a few times with the shad bait and still the same, are drop rates for blue fish broken or something?

I know that supossedly the drop rates are higher the more people are fishing in the same spot and there is one recipe found in arboretum that increases drop chances, but I don't have anyone willing to fish with me and neither do I own summerset, all the other blue rares i've got from fishing didn't took longer than 90-150 attempts and I was fishing on my own, a few guys were also fishing in the same spot as me one time and drop rates were the same

Is there any page to check the drop rates? at this point it's driving me insane

Okay, I noticed I can buy them so I bought two Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl and invited some people over to fish with me, we were 3 and went fishing for a good few minutes

Literally nothing changed, same garbage, salmon, river betty, fish roe, gunny sacks and like two medium furnishing fish, there wasn't any noticeable change in drop rates as I got the same dumb crªp and rarely a green rarity item, i've even had better luck getting purple furnishing fishing alone

What the hell

Fishing for the achievement is known to cause RAGE, but i powered through and became Master Angler.

True that, i've seen people have it worse than me and spend 1000+ bait just for one fish, but I guess with enough patience it can be completed, I only have completed 3 zones so far :p
