Wasted money? (werewolf and vampire)

I was under the assumption that buying the dlc's would unlock it for your account. So I purchased the werewolf dlc on my high elf character. Deciding to check if it worked, I switched to the redguard character and tried to activate it, only to discover it didnt work across your account. So Now I have a high elf with lycanthropy. Am I stuck with this now? I know you can get it removed from an arkay priest, but did I just waste $15 for something that im probably stuck not using? I cant find a place to submit a ticket, and there is no refunds for crown purchases. Any solution for this?

I know about that, but the thing is, I already bought it, for a character im probably not gonna use it for. Can I transfer it in any way? or is that $15 wasted?

no you can transfer diseases to other characters...also it's really easy to get for free. Research before buying

You cant do nothing, but to give a free bite for a friend and ask him to bite you back on your other character. I was also suprised that they are not account wide/unlimited.

Also bites are free, since some mobs in pve can just bite you, you just need to know the spawn points.

You never need to pay to get bitten.
