High level players, a small rant

Ok, I know is not every single high level player but, why are most of them arseholes? Do you just become a piece of sh!t once you hit 780 CP?

I'm saying this because every single time I have to deal with a sh!tty player he/she is ALWAYS 780, whenever I have to clear my inventory space to pick up a world chest loot some 780 guy comes and takes it, whenever I am trying to remain hiden to safely pick a safebox without getting a bounty I get some 780 guy that rushes to the safebox i'm trying to pick and takes everything from it and when I have one in a random dungeon group he's always bragging about how he can solo the dungeon on his own and how he's carrying everyone and he's doing 80% of the dps, same with world bosses sometimes I ask for a group doing world bosses and there is always that 780 guy like ''lmao I can solo them on my own, you guys need to git gud'', like no one honestly cares if you can solo something or not, good for you if you can

They also seem to have an ugly and boring sense of fashion, I see like half of them wearing the same welkynar armor set or some other overrated costume in ALL gold and other mediocre dye colors

And again, I know not everyone is like this, I know a few 780 CP guys that are really neat, i'm just talking about the average 780 player that I see all the time, i'm not saying low level players can't be arseholes either but I see very few, everytime I see a low level player farming safeboxes in the same place as me they seem to respect i'm trying to hide and pick one so they go and look for another one and I respect when they are trying to do the same thing

If I sound butthurt or triggered certain 780 players then i'm sorry, i'm just talking from personal experience :p

I do understand where you are coming from.

Join a good guild. You will find the "good" 780 people.

I am in guilds with good 780 players, I stated that I am not talking about ALL of them, because I know that just because you are high level it doesn't make you a piece of sh!t, what I am talking about is that, from personal experience, the average 780 players i've had to deal with are not very good

While I find this very annoying, it's definitely not only high-level players that do this. 'Thieving alts' will do this (rack up a huge bounty and then go on cooldown until it wears off) as well as many other players that do a thieving run before they log off.
There could be a simple solution for this btw: the safebox should just despawn if an npc catches you red-handed.

Ah yeah I know it's not just them, from personal experience I usually see 780 doing these thieving runs often so I added it to the rant

I think it would be kind of problematic if it were to despawn if you get caught, good way to prevent these kind of players but it's also common for everyone else to get caught, I want to get the mudball memento so I can throw it at them while picking safeboxes, I think it prevents whatever they are doing, would be fun :p

Yeah I know I did, i'm just talking about the average, specially with MMOS 90% of endgame players with like 5k hours in the game won't stop bragging about how they can solo group activities and how you are inferior to them simply because you have not reached the level cap

u will always b inferior, even if u reach lvl cap ;D u will hv 10k dps at 780cp and think to urself "i am doing fine, why r the others so mean to me "

Sometimes I have these problems too. Im fighting some high-level monster in a delve, using sword and shield, timing my blocks, then come the uber 1337 DPS-above-everything-else player and one-shot it, in a single blow. When I go to a delve and see some low-level player fighting, I try not to steal his kills, just help him with one or another blow, and maybe a heal.

But you get used to it. At least you are not dealing with cheaters. PvP is where most of the entitled 1337 scumbags are, thats one of the reasons why I think PvP should be dumped to the ground, including BGs, which should be turned into PvE arenas with infinite spawns (like the arenas in CoD MW3).

Its because of PvP that we have this kind of toxic players. Just look at most of the talk in zone chat, its always about numbers, about DPS and the latest overpowered set. The only place I see people roleplaying is in Riften.
